Summer 2016

We've still been keeping a pretty low profile of late here at home. We are however excited to head out to perform a few shows later this summer! We'll be at the City of East Lansing Summer Concert Series with our friend May Erlewine on August 6th and at Hoxeyville Music Festival on August 20th. Then in September, we'll be back in Lake City at the Earthwork Harvest Gathering! We hope you are all having a lovely summer and look forward to seeing some of you in the months ahead!

Simon Muir Foote

It is with great joy that we introduce Simon Muir Foote. Born in Lansing on 1-30-16 at 11:50PM. We've been getting to know this little guy over the last nine weeks and quietly settling in as a family of three.

Happy New Year!

It’s been a bizarre, challenging and beautiful year - we can’t thank you guys enough for the constant barrage of love. It’s helped in an unmeasurable fashion. After undergoing sinus surgery in February, Brandon continued to have some severe respiratory and immune function setbacks. With the council of a few different doctors, we decided it was best for him to leave his job in July to tackle the problems head-on. We’ve made some solid positive progress, but still have a good ways to go. Through all of the difficulties, music has been a constant uplifting force. In October we began working with Max Lockwood, Dan Rickabus and Seth Bernard at Ian Gorman’s La Luna Recording & Sound on what is to become our third full-length LP. The album is a throwback tribute to our Upper Midwest homeland and will likely be released in mid-2017. Thanks for the unwavering support friends - we have a few announcements coming up for what proves to be a somewhat mellow yet exciting 2016. Happy New Year! Photo by Josh Michels.

Bernard, Bathgate, GoC & Lamp Light

We're thrilled to announce a run of fall shows with our friends Seth Bernard and Chris Bathgate. We'll be in Lansing on 11/6, Grand Rapids at the Lamp Light Music Festival on 11/7 and in Kalamazoo on 11/14. Fox and Hound show posters designed by Emma Berger.

We couldn't do this without your friendship, encouragement and continued support. We also adore all of the talented bands we shared shows with: we're looking at at you, Double Phelix, The Go Rounds, Strawberry Heritage, The Appleseed Collective, Steve Leaf, The Longest Day of the Year, and Big Dudee Roo!
