We've had an incredible run of album release events over the last few months! We're sending BIG LOVE to everyone who came out to a show, bought an album, and/or hosted us in their home. We couldn't do this without your friendship, encouragement and continued support. We also adore all of the talented bands we shared shows with: we're looking at at you, Double Phelix, The Go Rounds, Strawberry Heritage, The Appleseed Collective, Steve Leaf, The Longest Day of the Year, and Big Dudee Roo! We're also deeply grateful to our Earthwork family (shout out to the fabulous Bill Chesney!!).

We hope you are all settling nicely into the new year! We're incredibly excited about the months ahead, the new album and the prospective travels that we have in the works! Brandon spent the first weekend of January in Toronto working on string parts alongside the incredibly talented husband wife duo Eli Bender and Rachel Capon. Drew "Captain Midnite" Howard and Ty Forquer have also added some incredible overdubs to the new material at La Luna Recording in Kalamazoo. Shows will be light over the next few months with only a few stops along the way. We're thrilled to be making an appearance at the Middle of the Mitten Festival in Lansing on Friday, January 25th and in Metro Detroit at The Berkley Front with The Bends & DL Rossi on January 26th! Thanks for the continued support and encouragement! Stay healthy and warm out there!
We spent the first weekend of November tracking more new material at La Luna Recording & Sound in Kalamazoo with our friend and occasional bandmate Ian Gorman. We're excited about the progress that we've made on the new project thus far! We'll continue to piece together the upcoming collection of songs over the first half of winter with a tentative late summer release date. Here are a few in-studio photos from Kalamazoo's Cam Tarnas.
We once again had an incredible weekend at the Earthwork Harvest Gathering. It's undoubtedly one of our favorite weekends of the entire year...Some of our highlights included the Go Rounds Saturday evening set, Micah & Trevor of Breathe Owl Breathe as Person, Place or Thing, and Mike & Ruthy. Big thanks to the many volunteers, the kitchen staff, Seth, May, Bob & Susie.
Our next stop is Friday, September 21st in East Lansing at (SCENE) Metrospace with our friends Breathe Owl Breathe. You can view the details here. We look forward to seeing some of you very soon.
We traveled over 1,300 miles in nine days throughout Michigan...Performed in the Keweenaw Peninsula, Hancock, Marquette, Manistee, & the outskirts of Gaylord. We shared some sacred down time with dear friends in both peninsulas. We have an incredible community here in the Mitten - thank you all for the support & love!
